Golden Records uses SQLite, one of the most widely used and reliable embedded database systems in the world. As changes are made, they are saved periodically to the database, reducing the risk of data loss if the program crashes.
Golden Records also includes a facility to make automatic backups of your data, which can be saved to a network drive, portable drive, CD, or other storage. If you use cloud services, your data is continuously backed up there.
