When adding a new member, tick the Add Starting Handicap and Classification after saving box (available when Golden Records is customised for the UK). After clicking Save and Close or Save and New, you can enter handicap and classification data.

Enter the current handicap and classification values as 'start' values. Start values are preserved when Golden Records rebuilds handicap and classification tables, ensuring accurate computation. You can add start values later using the Start Values tool on the Tasks toolbar.
