To change where your database and backups are stored:

• Go to Tools > Settings
• Under Database Location, set the new path for your database files
• Under Backup Location, set the new path for your backup files

You must have write privileges for the folders you select. If you don't have the required permissions, the move will fail. Backups will be saved to and restored from your chosen backup location.
