A competitor ID is a unique numeric identifier automatically generated by Golden Arrow for each entrant. The ID is essential because:

• It links scores to the competitor, independent of bow class, category, section, or round
It enables quick and accurate score entry without needing to sort scoresheets or look up additional details
• The ID must be shown on each score sheet to ensure the score is correctly allocated to the competitor
• As long as the archer records their score against this unique ID, Golden Arrow will correctly capture the score (assuming entry details are correct)

The ID cannot be edited and is allocated based on settings in Other Settings — either reused when competitors are removed, or assigned sequentially.
