The competitor ID is a unique numeric identifier automatically generated by Golden Arrow for each competitor. It serves to:

• Relate scores to the competitor independently of bow class, category, section, or round
• Enable quick score entry without needing to sort scoresheets or look up match details
• Ensure scores are correctly matched to the right competitor

The ID must be shown on each score sheet. As long as the archer records their score against this unique ID, the score will be correctly captured by Golden Arrow (provided the competitor details are correct and the score is typed accurately).

ID reuse depends on settings: by default, IDs are reassigned when competitors are withdrawn, but this can be disabled in Other Settings to allocate IDs sequentially instead.
