What is the difference between a Match and a Round in Golden Arrow?
Last Updated 10 days ago
In Golden Arrow, a Match is a group of archers who compete together for a single set of awards. A Match must have at least one Round.
A Round is an individual segment or leg of a Match. For example:
- A Double American is a single Match but contains 2 Rounds (one for Saturday, one for Sunday)
- An Indoor competition may have one Match with 3 Rounds (Session A, Session B, Session C) with scores aggregated from all three
- A simple York competition would typically have one Match with one Round
Scores are entered separately for each Round but aggregated by Competitor and by Match.
